To limit who can add you to groups in WhatsApp, follow these steps:
Open WhatsApp and go to the Settings:
In the Settings menu, select Account:
Next, tap on Privacy:
Within the Privacy settings, select Groups:
You'll now have three options to choose from:
a. Everyone: This allows anyone to add you to a group without your permission.
b. My Contacts: Only users in your contacts can add you to groups without your consent.
c. My Contacts Except...: This allows you to exclude specific contacts from being able to add you to groups without your consent.
Select the option that suits your preference:
After making your selection, tap Done or Save to confirm your choice.
That's it! Now, according to your chosen setting, only the selected users (or no one at all, depending on your preference) will be able to add you to groups without your consent. Any other user who tries to add you to a group will send you an invitation request that you can choose to accept or decline.
